The Interface of Global Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice

The Midwest Institute for International/Intercultural Education (MIIIE) will be hosting a week long workshop for community college educators exploring the interface of global poverty, inequality, and social justice. Participants will engage with questions such as:

• What are major factors impacting poverty?
• How have poverty and inequality evolved in the past and what are the prominent proposed solutions?
• How can social justice co-exist with poverty and inequality?
